EXPERTISE
Dr. Sandy Yeh is a pharmacist with over ten years of clinical pharmacy experience in various settings including emergency medicine, acute care, long-term acute care, compounding pharmacy, retail pharmacy and pharmacy benefits management. More recently, she has expanded her expertise to medical technology serving as a subject matter expert and requirements analyst providing solutions for software enhancement and development of new medical devices.
Dr. Yeh received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biological Sciences and her Doctor of Pharmacy (Summa Cum Laude) from Washington State University. She completed a clinical pharmacy practice residency at Franciscan Health Systems, St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.

She has an extensive background of experience and is licensed in 3 states (Washington, Nevada and California). Dr. Yeh was an Emergency Department Pharmacist for several years, collaborating with nursing staff and physicians daily to provide best practice and improved patient care. She has developed and implemented therapeutic and standardized protocols for clinical pharmacy practice in both acute- and long-term acute care settings. In addition, she was a Safe Medication Practice Pharmacist Specialist reviewing medication-related events and system errors to analyze root-cause and develop strategies for process improvement. She was also a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist for Prior Authorization and Utilization Management working on Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare plans throughout the country.

Dr. Yeh continues to be active and staff in the hospital setting as a pharmacist and Health Sciences Clinical Instructor at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center. She precepts and trains pharmacy residents and students. Dr. Yeh continues to expand pharmacy presence as a subject matter expert and requirements analyst for a medical technology company.
